Algebra 1 Rescue! instruction is composed of objectives, diagnoses, activities, evaluations, records-and choices that allow teachers to meet individual student needs. After pretesting and diagnosis, a teacher can select from a multitude of concept development, practice, or problem-solving activities that build mastery of objectives. Mastery is determined through posttesting, and for students still struggling, opportunities for further instruction are available. Data are recorded throughout the process to measure progress and ensure success.
